Earth 2140 Mission Packs to be released at WOA 2001
Finally more missions and multiplayer action. 2001-11-16 e.p.i.c. interactive have announced that the mission packs to the critically acclaimed Earth 2140 will be available (if UPS delivers on time) at the World of Amiga 2001 show in Cologne. This finally delivers the first LAN multiplayer RTS game for the Amiga - something Clickboom promised for Napalm but failed to deliver. The good news is that both mission packs will come on one CD along with the updated executable that allows for multiplayer games on a local area network (Genesis/AmiTCP/Miami/other TCP/IP stack required). The mission packs contain 80 new missions, so there will now be many more hours of entertainment for RTS fans. The game still has the same system requirements except for the multiplayer part which of course requires an ethernet card.
